Cross-country skiing trails

Since the establishment of Skålsjögården, cross-country skiing has been at the center of winter activities here. Many different trails have been made through the local forests, none of them the same as the others. Little by little we are repairing these trails and putting them back into operation. The special thing about our trails is that they go through the beautiful forests around Skålsjön. They go through some beautiful and worth seeing areas and pass many historical places. Also the nature around the trails is almost untouched, so it is quite possible to see wild animals, or their tracks. The trails are maintained according to the weather conditions, so that they can be used during the whole winter.
